So I am at this car studio in Paris last week taking video of a new wacky Nissan Concept (sorry strict embargo until 2nd) and I go to use the toilet at the studio and I saw this awesome Ferrari toilet seat! That’s not a picture in the perspex–it’s actually two little models racing! Anyway, I was wondering if you guys have ever seen any other weird car related items like this? Get the pictures up!

Project Kahn has created some magnificent looking vehicles in the past including their take on the Aston Martin DB9 and the Bentley Continental GT. Not to mention owner Afzal Kahn isn’t afraid of dropping $870,000 for the right to own the UK ‘F1′ license plate. Basically, there is no limit as to what Project Kahn can achieve as long as they do it with elegance.

Ferrari fans have something to cheer about this year, besides the release of the new California–the official Ferrari magazine.

Three of the 180-page glossies will be delivered each year to subscribers, along with a fourth, a 280-page yearbook issue.

The magazine is printed on quality stock paper and is almost twice the dimensions of an average publication. The book is filled with colorful photos of Ferraris past and present, race-car drivers and race cars, and the people in and around the company.

The editor in chief is Antonio Ghini, who was brought into the fold 15 years ago to help right the Ferrari ship. He is joined by journalist Jason Barlow, formerly of the BBC and Top Gear magazine.

Ferrari buyers will get a magazine and a one-year subscription.

Circulation numbers will be limited, but Ferrari has opened up the opportunity to non-Ferrari owners. The price for a one-year subscription is $303.85, before taxes. Ordering info can be found at www.ferraristore.com.

Vertu have renewed their ties to Ferrari by launching a new collection of Ascent Ti phones directly inspired by Ferrari’s cars. The Ferrari Ascent Ti collection consists of three phones named after their respective colors; a limited edition phone called the Nero and two special edition phones named Rosso and Giallo. The Nero phone is an all black Ascent Ti made of titanium coated with scratch proof PVD with a red sapphire crystal pillow. The Rosso and Giallo phones are red and yellow receptively and feature PVD coated battery covers and keys, they feature ceramic pillows. The battery cover of all three phones has been redesigned to resemble the hood of a Ferrari and features a three dimensional Cavallino on the battery cover as well as a smaller one on the front. The phones feature Ferrari inspired themes as well as ring tones featuring Ferrari engine sounds, only 2,009 examples of the Vertu Ferrari Ascent Ti Nero will be made.

As agreed, since the first lap I should have looked for the shape of Campari’s P2 in the driving mirror, if I had lead the way, to give him way with dispatch.
