The Ferrari 575 GTZ is a two-seat, two-door, grand tourer sports car built by Ferrari. It is essentially an updated 550 Maranello featuring minor styling changes from Pininfarina. Two six-speed transmissions are available for Ferrari 575 GTZ, a conventional manual gearbox and, for the first time on a Ferrari V12, Magneti Marelli’s semi-automatic (Sequential manual transmission) ‘F1′ gearbox. The model number refers to total engine displacement in litres.

When revved towards its 8,500 RPM redline, it takes on a raspy snarl that makes the regular Ferrari 360 V8 sound positively tame in comparison. Now just imagine taking that sound and multiplying it by 21. You see, 21 Challenge Stradale owners recently got together in Southern California to celebrate this special edition F-car, and in the process may have set some kind of record.

The automotive web lit up this weekend with speculation over a mysterious Ferrari photographed running development laps around the Fiorano test track.. While some suggest this could be the successor to either the F430 or the Enzo, observers were confused by the complete lack of any apparent effort to disguise the car’s bodywork. The latest reports now indicate that the vehicle in question is a one-off rebodied F430 custom made by Italian design house Fioravanti for what must be an incredibly wealthy customer.

The Ferrari F90 was one of the first Ferraris that was produced for the Sultan in 1988. He had ordered the car from Pininfarina - and it was based off of the current Testarossa.

The design by Enrico Fumia was more outrageous than anything Ferrari would dare produce. As many know, he ordered his cars in bulk and in this case six F90s were made.
