Ferrari Tries To Beat Bugatti Veyron In Drag Race

We all know that a 12 cylinder Ferrari is capable at beating any car in a race – but we have to admit that when it comes to racing against a 16 cylinder Bugatti Veyron it doesn’t stand much of a chance. Two men in the UK challenged this idea and raced to see who would win. Needless to say this wasn’t their brightest idea and we wonder how many beers they had been drinking.
Police were called when witnesses watched the two racing on a public highway. The police decided to bring out the BMW on them and pursue them in the chase to stop them. Following velocities of nearly 140 mph in the chase, the Bugatti respectfully pulled over while the Ferrari got away scott free. Fortunately for the Bugatti driver, police officially clocked the 253-mph Veyron going a mere 97 mph. The resulting citation was three points on his license and a fine of just ВЈ60 (about $120).
We recommend that no one try this at home. Especially since the consequences would have been much worse here in the States.
